Disclaimer & Intended Use

Implicitify AI is a psychometric platform. What you may do with results depends on who you are and how you are using it.

For Individuals

Results you receive through Implicitify AI are generated for informational, educational, and personal-exploration purposes. They are designed to offer a window into personality patterns, cognitive tendencies, and psychological constructs — not to serve as a professional evaluation of your mental health.

You may use your results to

  • Reflect on personality patterns and cognitive tendencies
  • Learn about the constructs being measured and the science behind them
  • Share results with a licensed professional as a starting point for conversation
  • Track change in self-report scores over time

Your results are not

  • A clinical diagnosis or professional evaluation
  • A substitute for assessment by a licensed mental health professional
  • Evidence of a mental health condition or the absence of one
  • Medical advice of any kind

No clinician-client, doctor-patient, or therapeutic relationship of any kind is created between you and Implicitify AI, its developers, or its affiliates. If you have concerns about your mental health, please consult a licensed professional. For licensed clinical psychological services, contact PsychologistsNY.com.

For Licensed Mental Health Professionals

Implicitify AI reports may be used as one component of a comprehensive clinical evaluation by licensed, qualified mental health professionals. Reports are intended to supplement — never replace — a full test battery, clinical interview, behavioral observations, review of records, and collateral information gathering.

Appropriate clinical uses include

  • Personality structure screening and hypothesis generation
  • Normative comparison on Big Five domains and facets
  • Attachment style, defense mechanism, and interpersonal style profiling
  • Integrating self-report data with clinical interview and behavioral observations
  • Tracking longitudinal change across treatment episodes
  • Psychoeducation with clients about personality functioning

Reports may not be used as

  • Standalone diagnostic instruments without supporting clinical data
  • The sole basis for any clinical diagnosis or treatment decision
  • A replacement for a full psychological evaluation where one is indicated
  • Evidence in legal, forensic, or custody proceedings without a qualified evaluator

Responsibility: The supervising clinician bears sole responsibility for the ethical interpretation, integration, and application of any results generated through this platform. All clinical conclusions, diagnostic formulations, and treatment recommendations must be made by the licensed professional in the context of their independent clinical judgment.

Zero-Knowledge Privacy Architecture

Patient names are never entered into the system. Assessments are administered using reference IDs only. Clinicians maintain the mapping between reference IDs and patient identities in their own secure records, outside this platform. This architecture supports HIPAA compliance and limits PHI exposure by design. Clinicians requiring a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) may submit a request.

Context-Tailored Content

Certain measures are presented differently depending on access context. When individuals take assessments for personal exploration, items and report language emphasize self-understanding and reflection. When the same constructs are accessed through a clinician link as part of a professional evaluation, the full clinical version is administered and the report provides psychometric depth appropriate for integration into a comprehensive assessment.

For Researchers

Research-tier access is intended for investigators with approved protocols and mental health professionals in training and supervision contexts.

Research use includes

  • Data collection under an approved IRB or ethics protocol
  • Export of scored data for analysis in external software
  • Access to clinical symptom scales (GAD-7, PHQ-9, IPDE-SQ) for screening research
  • Multi-method batteries combining self-report, cognitive, and projective measures

Researchers acknowledge

  • Professional responsibility for appropriate, ethical use of data
  • That automated scores are research data, not clinical determinations
  • Applicable institutional policies governing participant data and consent

Intended Use by Audience

Audience Primary intended use Notes
Individuals Personal exploration & education Free: take any assessment in the public catalog and see on-screen scores with a brief narrative summary; results are for self-reflection
Clinicians & Researchers Licensed clinical and research use Full battery including cognitive tasks; patient-link workflow; full reports and exports; BAA available. Set up by arrangement

Regardless of audience, no Implicitify AI report is a standalone diagnostic instrument. For individuals, results provide educational insight. For licensed professionals, results are one data point within a broader evaluation.

Measure-Specific Notes

Core Conflictual Relationship Theme (CCRT)

CCRT output is not diagnostic. It is designed to illuminate relational patterns and personality processes for use in psychotherapy planning and outcomes research. Interpretation requires training in psychodynamic formulation.

Picture Story Exercise / TAT

The PSE uses stimuli adapted from the original TAT tradition. Differences in stimuli from standardized versions warrant caution when drawing clinical inferences. Scores reflect implicit motivational tendencies and should be integrated with self-report and clinical data.
