Mission
ImplicitifyAI exists to close the gap between clinical-research methodology and everyday psychological practice. Every instrument on this platform is drawn from the peer-reviewed literature and administered exactly as validated — no proprietary modifications, no gamification, no approximations. Scores are computed from published, deterministic algorithms. Narrative interpretation is derived from those scores using deterministic score-to-band lookups that produce fixed descriptive text for each score range.
The platform is designed for three audiences: individuals seeking systematic self-understanding, clinicians who want research-grade data integrated into their practice, and researchers building study workflows. None of these audiences requires the others — each can use the platform independently and fully.
Scientific Foundation
ImplicitifyAI's scientific approach draws on the work of Dr. Daniel Winarick, a Manhattan-based licensed clinical psychologist.
Dr. Winarick's work integrates three traditions:
- Psychodynamic clinical training — structured case conceptualization, relational pattern analysis, motive inference from narrative material.
- Behavioral research methods — psychometric theory, CHC intelligence models, validity frameworks, multimethod assessment design.
- Computational linguistics — natural language processing applied to clinical narrative, psycholinguistic scoring of free-text responses.
Dr. Winarick is the author of several instruments developed specifically for ImplicitifyAI — including the Schizoid-Avoidant Distinction Tool (SADT) battery.
Methodology
Scoring. All standard screeners and self-report measures use deterministic scoring derived from the original instrument's published manual or validated scoring guide. The server computes domain scores, subscale scores, and normative percentiles from static norm tables that ship with the application.
Interpretation. Once deterministic scores are available, the server maps each domain score to a pre-written interpretive band. Each band carries fixed descriptive text authored from the published literature for that score range. No probabilistic inference is involved — the same score always produces the same narrative text. Output is not a clinical opinion.
Cognitive timing tasks. Performance-based cognitive tasks (Visual Digit Span, Mental Rotation) run in the browser and provide in-browser timed performance data. Response data is transmitted to the server per trial and stored in a de-identified session record. Performance scores are computed server-side from the raw trial data.
Projective and narrative tasks. The Picture Story Exercise (PSE) is scored by an automated deterministic lexical content-analysis approximation, in the McClelland/Winter tradition — with no AI and no manual coding. The user writes narrative responses and the server applies explicit, fixed scoring rules to extract implicit achievement, power, and affiliation motive imagery; nothing is interpreted freely.
Instrument Coverage
The platform currently covers fourteen measures across five domains:
- Self-report personality & traits — Mini-IPIP, IPIP-NEO-120, Interpersonal Circumplex (IPC-32), ECR-SF attachment.
- Clinical screening — IPDE-SQ personality disorder screener, SADT battery, AIMS movement scale.
- Cognitive performance — Visual Digit Span, Mental Rotation.
- Narrative and projective — Picture Story Exercise (PSE), Core Conflictual Relationship Theme (CCRT).
The platform also includes the Cognitive Restructuring Worksheet — a guided CBT self-monitoring exercise, not a scored test — which clinicians can assign as between-session practice.
What the Platform Is Not
ImplicitifyAI is not a clinical service, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional evaluation. Automated output does not constitute clinical opinion and should not be used as the basis for diagnostic or treatment decisions without the involvement of a qualified professional. The platform does not reproduce proprietary test forms from commercial assessment publishers.
Data and Privacy
Assessment responses are stored de-identified by default. Users may take measures anonymously without creating an account. Account holders can view their own result history.
