What it measures

This questionnaire looks at two related tendencies: shaping the impression you make on other people, and seeing yourself in an especially positive light. Both are common, and neither is a flaw in itself.

Your report

Your report summarizes each part in plain language.

Sample report preview

The report opens with a profile of your scores on each of the 2 scales (Impression-Management and Self-Deceptive Enhancement), drawn on a common scale so the highest and lowest areas stand out. Each one then receives a short plain-language explanation of what a higher or lower standing describes. It closes with guidance on reading the results and on the limits of self-report.
